The renowned and talented Peruvian designer, Ani Alvarez Calderon, presented its new collection for spring summer 2012. Inspired by the work of another prestigious talent Peruvian Fernando de Szyszlo, the creator took as a basis six of the paintings by the artist to give life to a collection that followed every step, brushstroke and line in a harmonious and beautiful symphony. Each dress evoked a work especially well built, a sort of retrospective of the career Szyszlo.
A palette of colors interspersed with more sober shades, where garnets and include animal prints, followed by touches of aqua, yellow and of course black. Exquisite fabrics that made up the figures of the long and short dresses unmatched elegance, taffeta, silk and a sexy lace look that hints at the delicate finishes and asymmetrical stripes.
The brightness also take center stage, giving it an ultra luxury and sophistication to each design. For the occasion, was chosen to model Hildalgo Gstir Andrea and Carolina Cubas who gave life to each piece captured by the lens of Alexandra Behr. Great!
